Where is she?

This is an "extra" post.
No big news to report.
I'm just curious about where 3 female runners have disappeared to, and why they SEEM to not be running.

Missing in action this year have been...

Natosha Rogers
Cayla Hatton
Wesley Frazier.

If you're not familiar with these girls, here's a bit of info on them.

Natosha won the NCAA 10000 in 2012 in 32:41.
This was just her 3rd (or 4th?) 10K....ever!
She'd been a 16:25 5K runner in 2011, and in her 1st 10K, ran over 34 minutes.
Then (I believe) she hit in the 33's.
Then, as noted, WON the NCAA race!
This was followed by ANOTHER 42 second improvement, down to 31:59 in the Olympic Trials.
She finished 2nd, but failed to run the needed "A" qualifying time of 31:45, so didn't go to London.

Then she pretty much disappeared.
She said she needed to take a break from running, and wasn't sure when she'd be back.
Haven't heard anything from her in about a year!

Cayla ran the 2nd fastest HS 10K in history, 33:17.28, in a mixed race in a small college meet in the spring of 2012.
Then she ran the 5K in the World Junior Championships that summer--the same meet where Mary Cain ran her breakthrough 4:11.01 1500--in 15:50, then 2nd best A-T!!  (Cain has since become # 1 with her 15:45 last year, pushing Hatton down to 3rd!)

She started at Stanford, and was listed on the team roster, but she never raced.
Then word came she left the team....
or left Stanford.
Not sure which....or if it was both!
Haven't heard anything about her in the past year either!

Then there's Frazier.
An amazing talent, she tripled at last summer's NBN, winning the 5000 (15:55), the 2 mile (10:12), and the 1 mile (4:39) on consecutive days!
Earlier, indoors, she inched past Erin Finn to set the HSR for the 5K at the NB Indoor meet!!

She ran quite well in Duke's first CC meet, finishing 4th, if I remember correctly.
She seemed set to be one of the BIG stars of CC and track, not just for Duke, but in the entire country!!
Then word came that she got sick....as did several Duke runners!
She's apparently healthy, as I've seen photos of her smiling widely with friends on Twitter.
But......she has yet to be in any results.
Been checking all the Duke meets, and she hasn't run....despite still being listed on the team roster.
(And not as a redshirt!)

So why aren't these super talented young runners......running?
Or if they're running, why aren't they competing??

Does anyone have any "inside" information on these three?

One or two more items.
I made a HUGE error in my blog about the two women's mile races.
Abbey D'Agostino did NOT break the Senior Class record for the mile!!
I'd forgotten to list the Collegiate Record Holder--Jenny (Barringer) Simpson--as the Senior Class record holder....which she obviously would be, as she holds the CR!!
Abbey DID break the 1500 CR, as stated!!
Sorry for the error!

I'll return later this week with my next full report on 2014's indoor action!
