This was the meet where the World Championship team was to be selected!
(The Juniors would go to the World Juniors in Colombia in August!)
However, that wasn't happening, for the most part, due to various oddities!
Too much (& too complex) to explain here, so watch for a future post to "explain" it to you!
Meanwhile, here's what happened (worthy of note) on Hayward's track & field in late June!
This post is all about the Men!
(Women's post to follow!)

HS'er Cade Flatt ran 1:46.53, but fell short of the HSR yet again!
Fred Kerley sped 9.83 in a 100 heat!
It's the Meet Record, and ranks him 14th A-T World, tied with 2 others, and 6th A-T US, tied with 1 other!

Jeez!
Day Two (Seniors)
Guess who won the Long Jump?
Bet you can't, since NO ONE ever heard of him!

Rayvon Grey LJ'ed 26-10.50!
Steffin McCarter was 2nd with 26-9!
The 100 semi's saw Fred Kerley up his game to 9.76!
